The house the last contractor left

Property
Pre-1940s multi-family, Worcester County
Situation
An unlicensed contractor removed structural attic ties under an open permit. The town issued a stop-work order and the meter was pulled.
  1. Field-measured the attic structure and documented existing conditions.
  2. Engaged a licensed engineer for a stamped report the inspector would accept.
  3. Brought in licensed electricians and settled code questions before any work.
  4. Kept the unaffected unit moving so the owner didn't lose the whole building.

  1. Reviewed the original return in full and found where it went wrong.
  2. Documented eligible business expenses the first filing left out.
  3. Prepared the amended return and supporting forms.
  4. Confirmed everything against IRS records before submission.

About the founder

I don't just call the plumber. I know what the plumber should be telling you. The same goes for the IRS.

Samuel Bruno, Founder

Samuel built his career in sales leadership and solar consulting, and spent just as many hours on everything around them: job sites, building departments, tax forms, credit files and agency offices.

For years, family, friends and landlords called him when something got complicated. Bruno Group is that work made formal, held to the standards of a professional firm.

Before you call.

Do you perform construction work yourself?

The firm manages and coordinates. Any work requiring a license is performed by licensed, insured trades that are vetted and scheduled on your behalf.

How are fees set?

Fees are fixed and quoted in writing after intake. For credit work, nothing is charged until the work is performed, and you have the right to cancel within three business days.

Can a return that's already filed be fixed?

Usually. Most amended returns can be filed within three years of the original due date. Bring the filed return and any IRS letters.

Do you work with Haitian families?

Yes. Many clients are Haitian families in Worcester County, and the firm is comfortable working with English- and Creole-speaking households.

What area do you serve?

In person across Clinton and surrounding Worcester County towns. Tax, credit, records and digital work can be handled remotely anywhere in Massachusetts.
